Canon law on the administration of temporal goods is based on the articulation of different procedures for acts that do not require particular formalities, called acts of ordinary administration, and for those others that require authorizations, permits, consents of other subjects, etc., and which are called acts of extraordinary administration. This article comments on the pontifical document that introduced some parameters to distinguish ordinary from extraordinary administration in the management of the goods of the Apostolic See.
