Abstract

“Powers” and “offices” in the ecclesiastical organization are some of the tools oriented towards the service of the institution and of the people. The decisive option of to involve the laity in the highest levels of the hierarchy of ecclesiastical government (at the universal level as well as the particular level) brings to light some doctrinal and pragmatic questions, all of which express the need for a correct interpretation of this orientation.
