Abstract

The article seeks to establish the juridical domain of the common good of the family as a conceptual reference point for the juridical anthropology of the family. In the first section, the concept of the common good of the family is outlined through the optic of relational and social ontology. In the second section, the concept of the common good is filtered through the lens of juridical realism and is established as a sui generis juridical good. In the end, the article seeks to include the analysis of the juridical common good of the family in the existing congenial lines of argument in the fields of juridical anthropology of the family and the social doctrine of the Church.
