Abstract

On the 30th of April 2018 the Polish Bishops’ Conference published the General Decree on the protection of natural persons in regards to the processing of personal data in the Catholic Church. The Decree draft was sent for consultation to the dioceses, conferences of senior convents superiors, Caritas Poland and individual experts on the protection of personal data. Direct development of the text was done by the Working Party for the development of the intraecclesiastical personal data protection regulations, established pursuant to the Polish Bishops’ Conference resolution of 7 June 2016.
