Abstract

Western Family Law has experienced a strong evolution, affecting its two basic subjects: marriage and filiation. This paper describes this evolution, highlighting its main steps and its general direction, that has lead to the deconstruction of Family Law. In its second section, this paper proposes a reconstruction of Family Law, based on filiation, which is, from the teleological point of view, the basic relationship in Family Law.
