Abstract

Beginning with an analysis of both canon 579 of the 1983 Code and Pope Francis's 2016 rescript, this study proposes a reflection on consecrated life, suggesting certain lines of interpretation for its fruitful positioning within the Church, in search of the sound order between its belonging to the Universal Church through inherence in a particular Church, safeguarding its just autonomy and in conformity with necessary measures of subjection.
