What’s the di erence between objective and subjective right? The study of the characteristics of the right, understand as “objective right” in Villey and Hervada, allows us to understand how and when the subjective conception of right logically deviates from this objective meaning and to point out juridical consequences. Moreover, the comparison between these authors allows to determine more precisely the nature of the right: substance or relation?
